We provide information for resources located in Lynchburg, VA., and surrounding areas that will assist parents/guardians in helping their teens overcome these issues. ABOUT B.E.A.R
B.E.A.R: Bringing Education & Awareness Responsibly is a faith-based youth awareness program committed to promoting education and spreading awareness in a responsible manner. Our goal is to empower families through education on current risky behaviors and awareness to the early warning signs. We also provide information on resources with assisting parents and guardians as they parent through these challenging times.
Our mission is to provide accessible education and raise awareness on recognizing signs when your teen is at risk for depression, drugs, alcohol and other concerning behaviors. Through our initiatives, we aim to inspire and educate families, foster a culture of learning and understanding, as well as provide information for resources to offer help. You are your child’s advocate and voice of reason. Don't give up or give in! Your teen's health and safety depend on YOU!
